Your transactions shouldn't need manual entry

Manually exporting and importing bank transactions every month feels manageable — until it isn't. One missed month becomes three. A bank disconnect means your records go dark. ReInvestWealth connects to over 10,000 financial institutions through Plaid, and accepts bank statement uploads as a reliable backup whenever a live feed isn't available.

Doing it by hand
  • Type every transaction into your books by hand
  • Juggle CSV exports from each bank and card portal
  • Miss transactions and scramble to find them later
  • Work from stale balances that never quite match
The ReInvestWealth way
  • Secure open-banking sync brings transactions in for you
  • Upload statements for anything that isn't connectable
  • Every transaction categorized automatically as it lands
  • Balances always current, across every account
How it works

From your accounts to your books, in three steps

Search for your bank

Type your bank name — TD, RBC, BMO, Scotiabank, CIBC, credit unions, and 10,000+ others are supported. Connect securely through Plaid using your online banking credentials.

Transactions import automatically

ReInvestWealth pulls in recent transactions — typically the last 45 to 90 days — and they appear in your Transactions dashboard, ready for categorization by AI Bookkeeper or Automation Formulas.

Upload a statement to backfill older history

For transactions older than what Plaid imports, upload a PDF bank statement. ReInvestWealth extracts and imports the transaction history to fill in the gaps — no manual entry.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How far back does my bank history go when I first connect?

Plaid typically imports 45–90 days of transaction history when you first connect. For older transactions, upload a PDF bank statement — ReInvestWealth extracts the data and imports it into your account automatically.

What if my bank requires two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Some banks with mandatory 2FA — such as RBC — require you to temporarily disable 2FA before connecting through Plaid. Once connected, you can re-enable 2FA. If you run into issues, contact support — we have bank-specific guides for the most common cases.

My bank disconnected. What do I do?

Bank connections sometimes expire or disconnect — this is a Plaid limitation that affects all accounting software using Plaid. Go to Bank Accounts, find the disconnected account, and reconnect it. Any transactions missed while the account was disconnected can be backfilled with a statement upload.
