The math

Where the hours go

Routine bookkeeping is a handful of small tasks repeated across every file, every month. Repetitive and rule-based: exactly what AI is good at.

Example: a 120-file firm
  • Transaction categorization & coding45 min per file
    90 hrs / mo
  • Chasing & matching receipts30 min per file
    60 hrs / mo
  • Bank reconciliation30 min per file
    60 hrs / mo
  • GST/HST & QST return prep20 min per file
    42 hrs / mo
  • Client follow-up & data requests25 min per file
    48 hrs / mo
All of it together300 hours every month

That is more than two full-time roles (at 145 productive hours a month each), spent on work nobody bills a premium for.

Illustrative numbers for a typical file (the calculator above defaults to 2.5hrs per file). Your firm's own file count and rates belong in the calculator, and the full workbook on the call.

How it works

A pilot, not a leap

Nobody moves a whole book of clients on a promise. The partnership is designed to prove itself on a handful of files first.

  1. Step 1 · 30 minutes

    Book a call

Bring your file count and rates. We rebuild the capacity model with your firm's own numbers, assumption by assumption, and you keep the workbook. Firms that want the full workup before piloting start with the AI Capacity Diagnostic below.

  2. Step 2 · A handful of files

    Pilot and measure

Start with your smallest, messiest files. A defined measurement period replaces the 25 to 50% assumption with your firm's real capture rate.

  3. Step 3 · At your pace

    Roll out file by file

Expand on the pilot's evidence. Each migration is done for you and reviewed by a CPA, so your team is not the one doing the moving.

The first step, productized

Start with the AI Capacity Diagnostic

A fixed-fee review of where your firm's hours go, what AI can take off your team's plate, and whether a pilot is worth running. Not AI consulting in general: a decision, on your numbers.

Fixed fee, quoted once we see your file count · Credited against implementation if you proceed · You keep every deliverable either way

  • The workbook, filled in

Every assumption on this page rebuilt with your firm's real numbers, together. The file is yours to keep.

  • A map of your client book

Which files are pilot-ready, which should stay put, and why.

  • A pilot plan with a finish line

The setup that replaces the 25 to 50% assumption with your firm's own measured capture rate.

  • A written go or no-go

Even if the honest answer is that ReInvestWealth does not fit your clients.

FAQ

Straight answers for skeptical partners

Is ReInvestWealth trying to replace accountants?

No. ReInvestWealth is built for business owners to run their business on, with the routine bookkeeping handled by AI. That routine work is exactly the part most firms lose money on. Your firm stays the advisor: you review clean books, plan taxes, file returns, and advise. Built by CPAs, for exactly that division of labour.

How does pricing work for firms?

Firm pricing is based on the number of client files under management, not on seats, and it is different from the price a business pays on its own. We walk through it on the partnership call once we understand your file count and mix. No surprises: you will see the full picture before any commitment.

Do my clients have to leave QuickBooks?

A client's books run on ReInvestWealth, so yes, migrated files move over. The switch is done for you and reviewed by a CPA, and most firms start with the files where QuickBooks was overkill anyway: the ones too small for their fee but too messy to leave alone. Larger clients with dedicated accounting staff can be a genuine fit for QuickBooks, and we will say so.

How realistic is the 25 to 50% automation range?

It is deliberately a range, because the honest answer is: it depends on your client mix and data quality. We refuse to put one confident number on a page. The way to know your firm's real number is a pilot: a handful of files, a defined measurement period, and the capture rate measured on your own work rather than asserted by us.

What is the AI Capacity Diagnostic?

A fixed-fee engagement that turns this page into your firm's own numbers: the capacity workbook filled in together, an automation map of your client book, a pilot plan, and a written go or no-go recommendation. The fee is quoted on the call once we see your file count, it is credited against implementation if you proceed, and you keep every deliverable either way.

Which client files are the best fit?

Service businesses run by one to five people: consultants, real estate agents, freelancers, incorporated professionals, newly incorporated founders. In most firms these are the files that consume the most chasing per dollar of fee. They are exactly what ReInvestWealth was built for.

Can I see the full model behind this calculator?

Yes. The calculator on this page is a simplified view of a full capacity workbook: activity-level hours, loaded staff cost versus billing value, realization, and the assumptions that prevent double-counting. That workbook is the backbone of the AI Capacity Diagnostic: we fill it in with your firm's own numbers together, and you keep the file.

Run the numbers on your own firm.

Book a call and we fill the capacity model with your files, your rates, and your clients. Then we decide together whether a pilot makes sense.
